YOUTH MINISTRY

Make me to know your ways, O LORD; Teach me your paths.

Lead me in your truth and teach me, For you are the God of my salvation;

For you I wait all the day long.

Why are we doing this?

"I didn’t have that - at all.  But, my teenage years were when I asked my hardest hitting questions about life, existence, death, and my purpose.  Without any kind of understanding of who Jesus was, I fumbled around in the dark for many years looking for these answers.  I didn’t even hear about Jesus until I was 16, and I didn’t come into a relationship with Him until I was almost out of high school.  I know what it is to be a teenager searching high and low for answers that are meaningful and meaty. I also now know that those answers and that sense of purpose can only be found in Christ, and I want to help be a light towards those answers for wisdom-hungry teens." - Kate

"The youth ministry at the church I attended in high school was instrumental in shaping my adult Christianity and my mature relationship with the Lord.  It provided me with opportunities to learn and grow that I would not have had or found anywhere else. It’s something that I experienced and benefited from and grew with and I want to share that with the next generation of believers." - Louis

The Gallup Hill Youth Group is working its way systematically through the Bible, starting in the Old Testament.  As we go through we are studying the lives and actions of Biblical characters (Moses, David, etc.) and using what God has communicated to help us learn about our own lives.
