CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 19:14
Your children are important to you and to Jesus and to us! So we put a lot of prayer and effort into our children’s ministry. We want to partner with you to help introduce your children to the Savior and help them grow in their faith and have some FUN along the way!

What Does This Look Like?
-
The back of the gym will be set up with tables during the worship service. These tables are reserved for families with children up to 5th grade.
-
During the worship service we will have the "Family 5". It is a fun, 5 minute video just for the kids. Each child will receive a package that goes with the Family 5 video with sermon notes, coloring sheets and more.
-
After the Family 5 and right before the sermon, children from 0-Kdg will be taken upstairs to the Chapel. Older children will work on some crafts related to the video. Younger children will watch a video
-
Children 1st grade and above will remain in the service.
-
Gallup Juniors is for Children in grades 4 and 5. They will remain in the worship service on Sundays, but will meet once a month outside of church at someone’s home or at a park for some fun and Bible learning.
Requirements for all Children's Ministry Volunteers
We value you and your children so we have created a process to join the Gallup Hill Kids Team. All team members are carefully screened and supervised.
-
All interested applicants will have an extensive criminal history background check through "Protect My Ministry".
-
Each applicant must provide 2 personal references who can affirm the applicant's ability to serve in children's ministry.
-
All who serve in the Children's ministry are required to read through our Policies and Procedures manual. Periodic trainings are offered throughout the year.
-
We have a strict "Never Alone" policy. Children's ministry team members will adhere to the two team member policy at all times. One team member should never be alone with a child.
