COMMUNITY GROUPS
And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
...and day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts
Acts 2:42, 46
Community groups exist so that we can get together with friends from GHBC and talk about what Jesus is doing in our lives, pray for one another, encourage one another, and just hang out!
Sessions are offered in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Group members range from single young adults, married with young children, empty nesters, retirees and grandparents. Whatever generation or stage of life you find yourself, you'll fit right in!
Groups provide a wonderful time of fellowship as well. We often have a friendly competition going about the cuisine we will be serving each week. Breakfast for dinner? You'll fit right in! Everyone contributes and it's a wonderful evening of sharing.
Due to COVID we are leaving it up to individual groups as to how they want to meet. Meetings can be in person in someone’s home or digitally via Zoom.

Our Community Groups will be discussing the weekly question from The New City Catechism.
The Catechism is a series of 52 questions and answers that help teach the core truths of Christianity. Topics covered included God, creation, the 10 Commandments, sin, human nature, Christ, the Holy Spirit, Prayer, and more.
Each week the group gathers (currently via Zoom) to talk about the question and topic, pray for one another, and just hang out.
