Kistijpg--clipped Kristi Anderson, Deaconess

The Lord brought my husband and myself to CT in 1991, through his job in the Navy. We both are from Shreveport, LA and have been blessed with two beautiful daughters, Jamie and Kristin, two wonderful son-in-laws, Darren and Aaron, and three adorable grandchildren, Elijah, Gabriel and Addison. I love spending time with my husband of 35 years, our daughters and their families, and my church family.  I am very humbled and grateful to be a Deaconess at Gallup Hill Baptist Church.

Greg Niles, Deacon
I have been a native New Englander for all but five years of my life. I presently live in Ledyard CT with my bride Claire. I have worked in the IT field for the last 20 years in various roles including the help desk, infrastructure design and support, and business applications support. In a support role you have to have a passion for helping people and that is where I have found my calling with Christ. As the Community Group Coordinator for Gallup Hill, a Deacon, and facilitating a community group of my own I have found great joy in helping others with their walk with Christ. They also help me with my walk as well. This is where we apply Proverbs 27:17, "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another."
It truly is a joy serving God and his Church.  Taken from Christ’s own words recorded at Acts 20:35, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.
I am very thankful that God has lead us to Gallup Hill. With the help of the Holy Spirit we will continue to grow in our walk with Christ and exemplify those qualities in our everyday living, at work, in our community, and with our Church Family.
Mike Utz, Deacon
I was born in Wichita Falls, Texas and moved to Ledyard in 1968. I have been married to my wife Marie for 34 years, have two wonderful daughters Amanda and Emily, and two loyal labs, Nala and Kovu.  I am currently a General Manager of a local auto parts store. In my spare time I enjoy working in the yard, working on our cars and spend leisure time with my wife.

The Lord lead us to Gallup Hill in 2014. I am serving as the First Impression Coordinator and Men's Ministry Coordinator. It is an honor serving our Lord and strengthening men as they strengthen me while we walk with Christ. I am honored and humbled to be serving our Lord as a Deacon.

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
